3 Secrets you probably know, but undoubtedly should be reminded of (again!)

The three “secrets” that I’m about to reveal, are in fact nothing more than simple common sense.

You’d have probably read or heard these facts numerous times.


I bet you still don’t implement them!

You see, we as humans don’t like simple.

It doesn’t give us enough reasons for excuses.

We like complicated.

That way we can come up with a thousand reasons as to why we haven’t done that today.

KISS. Keep It Simple, Stupid.

The simpler something is, the easier it is to implement.

Below, you will see three very simple methods that help you stay fit, healthy and active.

Are you ready?!


But don’t just read these “secrets” and yet again do nothing with them.

Once you’ve read this, get up and do.


Do more, complain less!

So, here we go…

1. There is no right or wrong time to exercise.

Let’s cut the crap!

99 point something percent of us are not athletes.

So the correct time for us to exercise, is when we will actually exercise.

Read that again…

The correct time for us to exercise, is when we will ACTUALLY exercise.

Sure, those few who are training at a very high level for something specific, will benefit from training at specific times in the day.


For you and I?

Just getting out and doing it is all that matters!

When’s the best time for you?

When do you most feel like it?

When do you have the time to schedule exercise into your day?

For me. I perform best in the evening.

BUT, if I exercise in the evening I end up being awake until the small hours of the next morning.

So, it’s an early morning work out to start the day in the right way.

Sure I start a little sluggish and not at my peak performance, but at least I’m up and doing something!

For you?

Perhaps you have kids and mornings are hectic enough as it is?

Maybe there is a club or exercise group in the evening that you’ve always fancied trying?

Or it’s possible you have a long enough lunch break to work out and grab a shower?

It doesn’t really matter.

All that does matter?

Is that you will actually get out there and move!

So, step one. Work out when may be the best time for you.

It may not be the same time each day.

That’s cool, it really does not matter.

2. Get a buddy.

This one is self-explanatory, but we all still need reminding from time to time.

If you train by yourself, you give yourself more chance to cut it short.

Or even worse, to not bother starting at all.

Making yourself accountable to another person is a great way to ensure you actually do!

Find someone you enjoy spending some time with.

Or someone who really pushes you.

Or someone you can rely on to be knocking on your door first thing in the morning.

Again, it doesn’t really matter.

Just get a buddy and train.

You’ll be helping them, as much as they’ll be helping you.

And the great thing!?

You have someone to go out for drinks or something to eat with, to celebrate your successes!

3. It should make you smile!

We’re all on this earth for a finite amount of time.

Life is short.

Sure, by doing regular exercise you’ll be helping to extend the time you have here.

And by ensuring your time is a healthy one, meaning you can enjoy doing more.

Why do something that doesn’t make you happy?

Exercise shouldn’t just be a chore, a necessity, a task of the day.

It should be something to look forward to.

Something to make you smile and bring joy into your day.

Currently spending your time running, to keep healthy, but don’t enjoy it?

Then stop!

Your heard me, stop!

Find something you do enjoy!

Try new things.

Try new things with new people.

Try new things, with new people in a new place.

Of course, you SHOULD do exercise to stay fit and healthy.


It should be exercise to keep you fit, healthy and happy!

So give something new a go.

If you don’t like it, try something else.

The main thing is that you’re smiling.

The most important muscles in the human body to exercise?

(After the heart of course…)

The muscles of the face, that make you smile!


There you have it. Three “secrets” that you already know but probably need reminding of.

I know I do from time to time!
